What is the process for embarking guests to take the COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test (ART) at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore?
Guests are strongly advised to follow their pre-set designated time for the COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test (ART) (as indicated under ‘Your COVID-19 Test Time’ on the Cruise Ticket) on the date of departure.
All guests aged 7 and above are required to carry the TraceTogether Token or download the TraceTogether App for check-in at the cruise terminal and onboard World Dream.

Guests bookings are to comply with the following updates:
Traveling & Social Gathering Group Size
- From 22 November 2021 onwards, traveling group size has been increased from 2 to a maximum of 5 guests per cabin (subject to the cabin’s maximum capacity) for all sailing departures, irrespective from the same or different households.
Remarks: Palace Villas / Penthouses may have a group size of maximum up to 6 guests per cabin, provided all guests are from the same household. - From 22 November 2021 onwards, the permissible social gathering group size will increase from 2 persons to 5 persons per group.
- Individuals currently serving an active Stay Home Notice, Health Risk Warning (HRW) or Isolation Order (IO) by the Singapore Ministry of Health will be prohibited from cruising. Affected guests will be required to postpone their cruise or receive a future cruise credit via their original booking source.
Mandatory Vaccination for all Cruising Guests (from 21 November 2021 onwards)
- As part of Dream Cruises’ ongoing commitment and efforts to provide safe cruises for its guests and crew, we are pleased to inform with effect from 21 November 2021 onwards, all World Dream sailings will require its guests to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, excluding children aged 12 years and below.
- Vaccinated guests must receive the full regimen of COVID-19 vaccines* at least 14 days before the cruising date to be eligible to cruise and also tested negative for the mandatory pre-boarding Antigen Rapid Test (ART) at the cruise terminal. For further peace of mind, World Dream crew members have also been fully vaccinated in accordance with prevailing national guidelines.
[*Pfizer-BioNTech / Comirnaty / Moderna / Sinovac-CoronaVac / WHO Emergency Use Listing (EUL) vaccines (such as Sinopharm and AstraZeneca)] - Guests who have taken two doses of the Sinovac-CoronaVac or Sinopharm vaccines are strongly encouraged to take their third dose before 31 December 2021, as long as their second dose had been administered three months ago. Beyond this time interval, the individual’s vaccination status will revert to ‘additional dose needed’ and will be deemed not fully vaccinated and hence will not be eligible to cruise on World Dream.
- From 14 February 2022, persons aged 18 years and above who have completed the COVID-19 primary vaccination series and are eligible for booster vaccination will be considered as fully vaccinated for 270 days (9 months) after their last dose in the primary vaccination series. Upon receiving their booster, they will continue to be considered as fully vaccinated beyond the 270 days.
- From 14 March 2022, persons aged 12 to 17 years who have completed their primary series of vaccines and are eligible for booster vaccination will similarly be considered fully vaccinated for only 270 days (9 months) after their last primary series dose, and will require a booster dose to maintain their vaccinated status thereafter.
Note: Kindly note guests that are unfit for vaccination, including those with a medical certificate will NOT be eligible to cruise on World Dream.
On Board Dine-in Services
- As Dream Cruises introduces mandatory vaccination for all cruising guests, excluding children aged 12 years and below from 21 November 2021 onwards, dine-in will automatically be available to all cruising guests.
- Guests will be seated in permissible group size according to prevailing national guidelines. Dine in is allowed with a group size of up to 5 vaccinated persons per table from the same or different household, provision for children 12 years and below applies.
Others
- Complimentary breakfast, lunch and dinner for each day of your cruise is available at the Dream Dining Room Upper and Lower or The Lido. However, should you wish to enjoy an additional meal in / from these restaurants, an amount of SGD 10 nett (breakfast) and SGD 15 nett (lunch & dinner) will be charged.
Booking and Check-in
Yes, bookings had been opened since 8 October 2020. Dream Cruises is pleased to announce that World Dream sailings that are currently available for Singapore residents* are now also open to non-residents in Singapore, as well as international travelers, including those entering the country via the Vaccinated Travel Lanes (VTLs: https://safetravel.ica.gov.sg/vtl/requirements-and-process).
*Citizens, permanent residents, long term pass holders (student pass, dependent pass, long term visit pass and employment pass holders).
International travellers entering Singapore will have to fulfil the mandatory Border & Health Control Measures in Response to COVID-19 as implemented by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority too be eligible to cruise. All guests, both local and international travelers will also need to undergo the mandatory pre-boarding Antigen Rapid Test (ART) at the cruise terminal and present a negative test result for COVID-19.
Also, with effect from 21 November 2021 onwards, all World Dream sailings will require its guests to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, excluding children aged 12 years and below. When entering Singapore at the airport, you would have presented your vaccination certificates at the immigration counter for verification and processing. Subsequently, your status would have been update on your TraceTogether mobile app that you have downloaded. So upon check-in at the cruise terminal, please present your status via TraceTogether mobile app.

With immediate effect, guests that have travelled overseas and international travellers entering Singapore will be eligible to cruise provided they fulfill the mandatory Border & Health Control Measures in Response to COVID-19 as implemented by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority.
Kindly note that guests that had entered Singapore in the last 7 days through a Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) arrangement will not be allowed to cruise.
Yes, since there are no port of calls, Singaporean passport holders can sail provided that your passport has not expired by the end of the cruise date. However all foreign passport holders will need a minimum of 6 months validity from the completion date of their cruise to be eligible to cruise.
Pre-boarding Test
The cost of the pre-boarding COVID-19 tests will be waived for new World Dream bookings made from 18 January 2021 onwards (until further notice) for cruises departing from 20 January 2021 until 1 April 2022.
Yes, guests detected with fever / respiratory symptoms / failed the health criteria will be subjected to a second evaluation check by a medical officer and individuals not meeting these criteria will be denied check-in / boarding.
All guests are subject to a compulsory COVID-19 test before boarding. Anyone tested positive for COVID-19 will be denied boarding.
If a guest is unable to cruise with us, we will extend our Future Cruise Credit (FCC) voucher to provide them with flexible rebooking options.
Any other COVID-19 tests that are not taken at the cruise terminal on the day of departure will not be recognised.
Onboard Safety and Preventive Measures
As Dream Cruises introduces mandatory vaccination for all cruising guests, excluding children aged 12 years and below from 21 November 2021 onwards, dine-in will automatically be available to all cruising guests.
Guests will be seated in permissible group size according to prevailing national guidelines. Dine in is allowed with group sizes of up to 5 vaccinated persons per table from the same or different household, provision for children 12 years and below applies.
Complimentary breakfast, lunch and dinner for each day of your cruise is available at the Dream Dining Room Upper (Deck 8 aft) and Lower (Deck 7 aft) or The Lido (Deck 16 aft). However, should you wish to enjoy an additional meal in / from these restaurants, a nominal amount of SGD 10 nett (breakfast) and SGD 15 nett (lunch & dinner) will be charged.
Social distancing rules apply for all on board activities, theatre seatings and public areas.
Guests may also choose to book facilities exclusively at a nominal fee.
Most of the on board facilities are in operation.
As Dream Cruises introduces mandatory vaccination for all cruising guests, excluding children aged 12 years and below from 21 November 2021 onwards, on board activities will automatically be available to all cruising guests.
Permitted onboard activities will continue to operate at reduced capacity and with enhanced social safe distancing measures.

All guests aged 7 years and above are also required to present their personal TraceTogether Token / App at the time of check-in. Dream Cruises reserves the right to refuse embarkation to any guest(s) who is/are not able to present it.
TraceTogether works by exchanging short-distance Bluetooth signals between tokens/phones to detect other participating TraceTogether users in close proximity.
User detail stored in the phone or the token can only be accessed by a health official.

From 22 November 2021, the permissible social gathering group size from 2 persons to 5 persons.
For the Swimming pools, Jacuzzis and Gyms, guests will have to make reservations based on given time slots and adhere to the safe distancing measures and the limits of the number of guests for each slot. Guests will need to leave these facilities at the end of each designated time slots.
To provide a safe environment for guests, pools must implement Safe Management Measures (SMMs), as required by Enterprise Singapore (ESG), in accordance with the COVID-19 regulations. Pools can only admit a maximum number of guests according to the pools gross floor area. A minimum of 10 sqm is required per guest.

Muslim-Friendly Experience
We are pleased to inform that World Dream is the First Halal Friendly Cruise Ship in Asia Pacific regions.
The Lido (Deck 16), one of the most popular restaurants on World Dream offers a dedicated Halal buffet section for Muslim guests – certified based on OIC (Organisation of Islamic Corporation) / SMIIC (Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries) Standards. At the same time, the restaurant offers a dedicated vegetarian section that is certified by GVCS (Global Vegetarian Certification Services).
We also provide other holistic Halal friendly services featuring "Super Seacation" experiences including:
- - OIC SMIIC standards Halal Certified central kitchen with halal certified fresh ingredients for Halal cuisine
- - Prayer Room space (with Quran, prayer mats, compass, prayer dress for ladies)
- - Special attention of Doctors at Medical Centre (Deck 5)
- - Special arrangement of Spa/Therapist at Crystal Life Spa (Deck 15)
- - Special Sahur / Sehri Meals (Pre-Dawn Meal) OR Iftar Menu (Fast-breaking Meal) arrangements for the Muslim guests on board with the Ramadan related services
Disembarkation
However, all passengers will still be required to take a mandatory COVID-19 test and have a negative test result before boarding. This remains in line with STB's CruiseSafe certification programme, which requires cruise lines to put in place measures to detect potential COVID-19 cases. On-board testing capabilities are also required, and there will be swift isolation of suspected cases and close contacts until their test results are out.
Guests should monitor their health (i.e. for fever ≥ 38°C and respiratory symptoms such as cough or breathlessness) and seek prompt medical attention when necessary.
